1. It wasn't easy for Grace to accept that Halbjorn would just not make a good father, even if he was willing to try. The idea of a child growing up not knowing their father for what he was was especially hard on her for obvious reasons. She refused to accept it, whatever anyone said.
2. Needing to keep them on Earth, as Halbjorn would not marry her, though he professed loving her as much as he could love any, the twin prince and princess came under threats numerous times.
3. It took Grace seeing Halbjorn going full-out berserk right in front of her in defense of her and the babies - and the moment where she realized he did not recognize her, nor them.
4. Brokenhearted, but still a heroine deep down, Grace did what had to be done and married Aridis so the children could be acknowledged as royals of Asgard, and became a princess herself by marriage.
5. Now three, Grace and Aridis are doting parents for a strapping little blonde boy and a strawberry blonde who looks a lot like her mother otherwise. She's regularly thankful neither shows any sign of the Bear-sark's curse, at least as of yet.
