1. While they've worked together before, but their friendship is really cemented when they do what the previous generation never could, and erase the boundaries, and trust one another, even when the other isn't watching.
2. Team Terry successfully proves Lex Luthor's involvement with international terrorism, operating in their own fashion, and leave Metropolis' big name villains not sure anymore who is watching.
3. Jon single-handedly stops the Jokerz, all of them, and sends a message both of hope and order to Gotham, not simply fear. The Arctic Lounge and Club Olympus are shut down when people come forward to testify.
4. When the son of Magog disintegrates the Joker, following yet another return to Arkham, there is no divisiveness. Batman and Superman stand together to stem the tide of chaos and set an example for those who would come after.
5. When the time comes for Terry to retire from active crime-fighting, he takes Jon and Corrinna's son, his godson, as his apprentice, training the child of the "gods" in the techniques of the Bat.
