Road trip meme- Pitstop
Harry had to remind himself why he'd agreed to a road trip instead of just teleporting there. But then again it'd been Jess who'd asked and wanted to go. And he was the type to not turn down anyone, let alone her. So when a girl he likes asks him on a road trip, just the two of them, there was no way he could say no. Besides, it was a good sign.

So yes, he had very good reason to be behind the wheel, driving down...whatever highway and trying to find somewhere to stop for the night. Actually, he had no idea where he was anymore. Jess had the map.

	He blinks a little when she does that, but doesn't say anything because it feels quite nice. He'll rest his head against hers and let it continue until he should mention that if she wants to sleep the backseat may be best. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

She can't see it but the smile it gets her is very happy indeed. Kind of tired, and finally feeling comfortable after a while of this, Harry rests his head against hers and lets his eyes close, just for a moment.

Unfortunately just a moment is enough for him to nod off. The hand around her shoulder slips and falls to her chest where, still thinking it was her shoulder, it...adjusts its grip. Sleep groping in a classic form.

Her moving his hand has him slowly wake up to see what was going on. That's when he sees where his hand was and what it'd been doing.

Oh no, he hadn't meant-darn darn he so hopes she isn't too mad. It was an accident he swears! He'd never...

Yeah, panicked flailing will occur along with being bright red and stuttering, and even more panicky, attempts to apologize then explain.

	The flailing? Results in an accidental headbutt. Jess pulls back only because of that. Ow! "...Harry. Damn it. It really wasn't a big deal. Ya were asleep. I ain't gonna get mad over a simple mistake." And then he gets a very sly grin. "And I don't mind that so much, I'd just rather us be more... awake. And not in my car." The headbutt has him reel back on reflex, even if he barely feels it, and his head meets the side window with a very audible bang.

A little disoriented by the flurry of activity he blinks for a moment before continuing. " I'm so sorry I didn't mean-" Wait. She wasn't mad. Before he can even come up with a response he gets the sly grin aimed at him and is left at a loss for words and gaping a bit like a fish. He only manages a slight nervous nod. His brain is a tad muddled up because of this girl. Poor Harry.

	It's maybe an hour or two later. Jess has in her sleep crawled right into his lap. Her fingers are bunched up into his shirt and her breathing is still slow and steady from sleep. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Harry had woken up before and was now focusing on breathing and moving as little as possible not to disturb her. As warm and comfortable as she was, he didn't know what to do about this. So he'd turned to the: do not disturb the cute sleeping girl in your lap plan. It's working so far, even if he is sitting rather stiffly now. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
