Road trip meme- Pitstop
Harry had to remind himself why he'd agreed to a road trip instead of just teleporting there. But then again it'd been Jess who'd asked and wanted to go. And he was the type to not turn down anyone, let alone her. So when a girl he likes asks him on a road trip, just the two of them, there was no way he could say no. Besides, it was a good sign.

So yes, he had very good reason to be behind the wheel, driving down...whatever highway and trying to find somewhere to stop for the night. Actually, he had no idea where he was anymore. Jess had the map.

	He...suspected as much. "That's...okay. You don't need to..." He squirms a little since he had no idea what to say to make her feel better. So he'll opt for putting the seat up and giving her a quick kiss. He was trying to be less nervous and shy. Besides, that she got caught up in.. the moment was kind of...flattering. 	"Oh I didn't mean-! I meant you don't need to apologize-but it's not like I don't-I mean..." He sighs and cuts himself off to stop before he gets even more muddled. Her snuggling into him helps with that too. "Okay, sorry I...okay." He snuggles back and let's himself relax. At least he'd stopped before he got into his nervous apologizing groove. 	He certainly doesn't want the second. But he feels awkward so he makes a desperate attempt to change the subject. "Um wasn't there someplace you wanted to go today?" There might have been, he's not sure, but hopefully it works. This was a completely normal conversation to have with her on his lap in the cramped front seat of a leaky car right? 	"Oh right." They really weren't that far off at this point. "My grandparents farm." She flashes him a shy grin. "It ain't that much further. Just a couple of hours but.... 	Harry nods and let's her find her way back to her seat before starting the car again. "So, umm...what are your grandparents like?" He does his best to ask this casually and not show his nervousness. "Well I think they're sweet. Grandad is still working on the farm, mostly. He respects people who are honest so I wouldn't lie to him about anything just.... try to be polite."

She smiles fondly. "Grandma is just.... well. She's a doll. She has a soft spot for animals so they'll have all kinds of creatures around the farm she's nursing back to full health. She's a trained vet so she knows what she's doing."

	Harry nods while he starts driving. Be polite? He could do that, he was always polite. And he'd answer all the questions he got honestly, but that probably also meant no avoiding questions. 	"Just you? Not the team or superpowers?" He wants to know so he doesn't tell them anything she hadn't, in case. At the arm squeeze he gives her a reassuring smile to show he was alright. "It's okay. 	"Okay, I won't say anything until they bring it up." He gives her a big smile, "That's great. It's better for you that way." He was genuinely happy for Jess and that she had a great family.
