I hate my life
Ok this is bullshit why is it I can't date and/or marry whoever I want!!!!!!!! I hate my mom, the Alfred family, and anyone else who says mixing the races is wrong!!!!!!!!!!

I was just informed that I can't be with the man I love because he's black and its not because of racism its because my entire family doesn't believe in "mixing the races" so I can't date anyone outside of the European population!!!!!!!

Kevin Amos is the love of my life and I want to be with him but I can't lose my family right now and my mom made it clear that if I continued to date him that I would not be her daughter I would be her black babysitter. why can't I love and be with who I want?

That's bullshit. I'm really sorry you're forced to choose between the guy you love and your family. My friends' parents are like that too. So many people feel that way. /-:

being from Lawton, Oklahoma; that form of racism is extremely foreign to me '_' our city ranks as one of the most culturally mixed/diverse in the U.S. and we rank pretty high in that regard world wide as well. So when I hear about this sort of thing being troublesome my mind boggles.

well she tried to give you that sort of choice huh... sounds tough, well its a decision to make... one I can't really help you with but if I had anything to say, do what you feel is right first and foremost.

That's definitely racism. Follow your heart. That's the best thing to do. But you must know that the reason they don't want him is wrong and that means you know the right answer to it. I hope it turns out well.
