MogileFS
I played with MogileFS last night. It was fun, so much fun I might implement it into Scribbld.

Haha me too!

MogileFS is something that LiveJournal uses. It's essentially a piece of software that when used can combine the storage space of multiple physical servers into a big pool of space. They use it to store userpics on.

Hopefully that wasn't too geeky of an explanation :P

#blink# Oh. That sounds like something I need at home (not so much because I have or need truly massive storage, but because I've got a whole stack of small hand-me-down IDE drives to combine into something moderately reasonable, and only two IDE controllers per computer).

Haha it might be overkill for home, there are some better home solutions!
