Personality/Likes & Dislikes:
Deidara is not the kind of person meant to be in normal society, which is to say (less kindly put): he is insane. His morals are warped if they are at all existent, and he holds little concern for things that regular people might consider important, such as killing people or animals in explosions he himself set off. He can't stop his Art just because people got in the way, and honestly thinks that those who die by explosions should be thankful to have gone out how they did.

His Art consumes his whole life, and Deidara constantly obsesses over perfecting it -- by making it bigger and better, of course. He often thinks of little else, and can often be found zoning out, sculpting a kneaded eraser into birds and small creatures in class, fantasising over how beautiful it would be to watch them explode. He's got real birds in mind, however, though he's sure exploding an eraser could be alright.

Though it may not need being said: Deidara is by no means a peaceful person, put to ease by his indulgence in his Art. He's aggressive and temperamental, which leads to him making immediate, reckless decisions. He has problems accepting that he can ever be at fault for anything, and if he is wrong or messes up on something he will act bitter and not talk about it. Deidara says he only forgives thrice, and after that he will hold no qualms about setting up a car bomb for the person that made him angry that fatal fourth time (unforgiveable).

He's self-obsessed, egotistical, arrogant and hypocritical; Deidara will go off on rants like how being overtalkitive is uncool, and will refuse to accept being told that its him who is being overtalkitive. He likes the spotlight to be on him, loving attention in any way he can get it. He's not able to make his Art public, because he knows getting arrested means never indulging in his Art again, but Deidara goes about grabbing attention in other ways; he stars fights he's oh-so-sure he can win (even if he probably couldn't were he a sane person that didn't own explosives), interrupts others ~~(see footnote under "Other Notes")~~, and talks about himself at max volume, always.
