BALLS ARE STOOPPED.

BUT NOT AS STOOPED AS TRANSFIGRATION TUTTORING.

Well, most of the time, balls aren't in motion unless we put them in motion. Therefore most balls are stopped, most of the time. I'm not exactly sure about Transfiguration, though. I wasn't aware that it could be in motion, or not in motion.

I agree! About the tutoring, though, not the ball. The Ball is going to be fun! Are you going? Do you have a date?

I think they might have punch at the ball though, Crabbe, and maybe something to eat. I suppose you could get your fill at the feast before hand. You're sure you don't want to go?

I WOULD ONLY GO FOR THE FOOD. AND NO OTHER REASON.

Quite, Crabbe. By the by, some of our Second Year boys were making a horrible racket in the common room today; if you happen to get bored in the afternoons, you're welcome to shut them up.

I can't entirely say I disagree with your point about the Ball, Crabbe. Although, I do believe you should give Transfiguration a chance. If I recall correctly, we'll be transfigurating normal things into food in the later chapters...
