So yesterday was super busy. So was Friday. I can't even really remember the last time I've updated so I might talk about some things I've already talked about haha.

Thursday and Friday were really busy days for me. Thursday, I had a couple consulting appointments in the morning, and then worked at the office for the rest of the day. Had a bunch of repairs to finish, and a couple data transfers, and at one point I had an Xserve setup. On Friday, I just had a bunch of work at the office. Both days went by really quickly. Friday night I proceeded to get intoxicated and play GTAIV with a friend. Tons of fun, although I think I passed out pretty quickly lol. Oops. I did buy myself another 500GB hard drive since SOMEONE stole mine to be used elsewhere haha.

I found out that It-Leaked is back online, which makes me SUPER happy! I was missing my music source haha. I finally got myself caught up on CCNA stuff and this week I'll be starting chapter 8 as planned. Hehe. I love this stuff, although not so much the logical stuff, I like putting the stuff together and doing hands on and all. Thanks to ltdan, I have access to a full CCNA/Cisco lab hehe.

Yesterday, ltdan and I spent like a bazillion hours getting the new database server online. The longest bit was me creating a new bootable USB stick. Note to people, NEVER USE THE UBUNTU/LINUX VERSION OF UNETBOOTIN! It's shit!! Hahaha. I used the Windows version after like 6 hours and it booted the server first try hahaha. So we got the base server install going. I figured out the front panel lights, so now there's one extra pretty light. Hehe And it's blueee!!

I think one of our RAID sets might have just died...we really need to get those extra drives so we can start using the new server as a file storage place. I am hoping we could sell like 10 permanent accounts here or maybe on Death Note...

Today, I've got some school work to get done. I got a 98% on my quiz last week. I'm relatively proud of myself for that hehe. The class is pretty cool, although not what I would normally choose to study. It is required for my degree, so I might as well as make the best of it and learn what I can.

I need to get out to work the horses some, and then I think Brian and I are going out to dinner and to see Terminator. I wouldn't mind seeing Wolverine too. I hope everyone has a lovely day!

Life has been quieting down a little bit lately...well ok, not very much, but at least enough for me to write this entry haha. Life has actually been getting busier and busier. I find that I am rarely home on the weekends, and now that show season is upon us, I have a feeling I'll be around less and less haha. It kind of sucks, because I really wanted to work a lot on Confessh.us, but I doubt I'll be able to find the time, but maybe that's where jimmy  can step up. Although he's probably got just as many things to do as I, if not more. So yeah...

These last 2 weekends I've been mostly down in Massachusetts at airsoft OPs. This weekend (Saturday) was one of the biggest OPs in New England, Battle for Tolland. There's like 300 people there or something crazy, it's wicked fun though! I was supposed to go to an OP today in Vermont, but then I remember how much the players in VT annoy me...so I skipped out and watched some Dirty Jobs, and went horseback riding instead haha. I was only able to work one of the horses, then I came home.

Played some GTAIV with ltdan and then I proceeded to Ubuntu my Shuttle. It's so sexy!!

I know, I posted a little video of my Spore baby, but this is a real entry. I plan on using this journal a lot more, then my other WordPress journal. Plus I uploaded tons of cute little userpics! I also snagged this layout from some LJ comm, the credits are in the CSS code if you care to peek.

I plan on using this as more of a personal journal. It'll be updated with some personal things, some things I want to share with everyone, and maybe even some thoughts on the tech industry (likely to be public entries). Maybe I should talk a little bit about myself.

I am currently administer the servers that this website runs on, I generally am a behind the scenes kind of person, you won't see me helping or supporting users for the most of it, we've got other people doing that.

I am a mostly a Mac OS X user but I tend to use Gentoo Linux to run my servers. I enjoy horse back riding, airsoft, military simulation, computers, punk rock music, CSI, Hilary Duff, anime, Japanese/Japan, hanging out with friends, movies, old Nickelodeon cartoons and TV shows, and lots more. I enjoy sex, drinking, possible drugs...although most of that it out of me now, you never know!! If any of that kind of shit offends you, I suggest logging off now, I do plan on using various privacy levels, but if you sound like a neat/interesting person and we have a few things in common, please add me as a friend.
