Brokenz
Well, hrmm, I am tired again...and it's 2am...almost 2:30.

BUT...

I got Spore Galactic Edition today.
I setup some new discussion forums for whatever - http://discuss.tehgeekgirl.com
I chat with [info]raf
I broke up with my boyfriend.
I started using Windows again (with EmergeShell or whatever and ObjectDock).

I can't stop looking at this art book from Spore, it's amazing. I'll probably be sleeping in tomorrow, cause it's late, and I am tired.

Sleeping Sleepies!
Today was rather interesting. I had a lot of work to do, and I didn't really take any breaks or anything so while I was working on this PowerBook I ended up falling asleep, right on top of it. I woke up about 2 hours later, maybe around 3PM, and I just said screw it and stopped working for the day. I went out and did some horsey stuff, and then I came back and I've been chatting online and ganking the Equestrian Olympics for the past 6-7 hours haha

Boyfriend is leaving tomorrow again, I think we're going to break up. It's just not working out, and I think it'll be better if we just go our own ways and we do our own things. It's going to better both of us, and we'll definitely still be friends, but I just don't think either of us, can really make it happen, we can't make the commitment, so rather then have it work really poorly, we'll just be good friends. I think that's how it shall happen.

Hrm, so what else....[info]raf is working on a dev server for Scribbld. Wicked nice of him, I don't really understand why he's doing that, I mean "just for fun" too. At least he's not doing moodthemes like I made Andrew J. do haha. I still have to put in 10 themes still and we've got to finish up the FAQs...definitely a rainey day project.

So I thought about buying some of those decals you see on the rally cars for my 2.5RS. Make it looks something like the car in DiRT. I haven't played that game in so long, I think I shall pick it up again soon. I love video games, especially the ones you start playing, and then when you look at the clock you realize 6 hours have gone by...*cough* World of Warcraft *cough* Spore...it's fabulous. I love it cuase it frees my mind and I can go into a completely new world, where I don't have to worry about stupid shit. The only thing that matters is if I complete my quests or if I go fishing, or hunting, or whatever...

Also I've noticed that Windows people like to blog about broken applications, things the OS should be and how to hack some application because it never works the right way , while Mac people blog about all these wonderful things you can do within the OS, or these really amazing applications and such. Maybe I am subscribed to the wrong blogs...

I've got a few new movies (Incredible Hulk and Batman: Dark Night) so I think I shall either try to watch something and not fall asleep too quickly or I can wait until tomorrow...I think it's time for sleep though, I am dying.

Spore Spore Spore!!
I managed to get my hands on a copy of Spore final. It's absolutely amazing! I've only made it to the stage where you get our the primordial goop, but it's a lot of fun. I almost wish that level was longer then it was. I am now on dry land, and most of my missions are to eradicate other species and eat them (yes, I choose to be a carnivore). I also have the Galactic Edition on pre-order (so that doesn't make a full 100% pirate, right?), and I think the one thing I am looking forward to in that is the art book. I mean, these creatures that can be created are outstanding. Not only is it the creatures that look beautiful, odd and wonderful, but the landscapes, the world designs are stunning.

Besides playing Spore, I've been working with the horses as usual, I finally got all of my tack cleaned and the saddles are all shiny. I've been using the new Google web browser, called Chrome. It's rather interesting. I do enjoy how it runs very smoothly (being only in beta too), it looks really nice, it's very simple, minimalistic, doesn't feel bloated and works with 98% of the websites I've been using. I did notice in Scribbld, when I am posting an entry, the text is very small (sort of the like the same bug that was reported with IE a while back). As for the small font, I just went in and changed some font settings and now it looks fine. The only website that hasn't worked for me is Office Live and I believe Hotmail does not work either, not a big deal though as I use both of those sites very little. I'm also reading the little comic book they put together to announce the release of the browser...very cute. In any event, I first thought this was going to be a pretty lame project, who really needs another browser. I said that too of Safari when they released it for Windows (and I still feel the same way in respect to that browser on Windows), but after using and working with Chrome, I must say, that I am impressed with how it works, the ideas that are behind it and I will continue using this web browser as my main browser on Windows. That said...

I broke one of our Cisco switch today so we ordered a new one. It looks like LtDan was right, it was a PSU issue, I don't really feel like pulling it apart to make sure...although after smelling it, yeah, I am pretty sure it's PSU related...we just another another 2924 24 port 100Mbit switch, fine for us, and easy on the wallet too. I think I found a GUI application -- Cisco Network Assistant that can help me configure it too, although I do like doing it though the CLI.

I've been using this Replay Media Catcher application to download the Olympics from NBCOlympics.com. I plan on getting all the Equestrian stuff and then converting it so I can watch it on my iPod. Obviously I can share with anyone...if you're into the horse stuff that is. I am very happy that I figured out an application that could do this for me. I use that Replay Media Catcher to grab the video and then VisualHub to convert the video into something my iPod likes.

Well, I guess I shall get going now, [info]raf is home and I'm going to chat with him and get some dinner going...

About Me
My name is Morgan Westfield. I am 22 years old and I'm currently taken by a wonderful boy named Brian! I love equestrian activities, airsoft milsim, video games, hardcore music, technology, good friends, my puppy dog, Apple, and Japanese food. I'm one of the site administrators on Scribbld but I hide mainly behind the servers. I sometimes enjoy meeting new people although I tend to stick with the ones I've got. Don't be shy though, please introduce yourself!
