Future: Well now this is interesting
It had been a long week but the job was done. And she hadn't gotten caught. She had made the drop off and had gone home.

Or to one of them anyways. She was still decked out in a sinfully sexy number made to distract. And she was looking forward to getting out of it. Just after she finished the water. She was tempted by the Scotch she does have here but she's not going to touch it.

Suddenly she is aware that she is being watched. So she leans forward against her kitchen counter reaching for a knife hidden within easy reach because she knows she has to protect herself.

She's expecting danger after how dangerous this past week has been Too many near misses have left her expecting trouble.

He's made it a point to find out about as many of her safehouses as he can. No doubt there's still some he doesn't know about, but tonight he follows her to one he knows. Tonight he waits a little longer than usual before revealing himself, waiting so he can scope her-well...the situation out first.

"Hot date tonight?" When she turns he'll be casually perched on her window sill. The cape covers a batarang he has out in case he needs to parry the knife he sees her pick up.

	She breaths a slow sigh setting the knife down. Though she has a feeling they'll end up fighting. She rubs the back of her neck at the base. "No. These are actually work clothes.... He gently tucks the batarang in the back of his belt when he sees her put the knife down.

Hopping off the window sill he gives her a smile and an appreciative look. "Well I hope they appreciated you filling some blanks in for them. Don't worry I'm sure they're imagination was still in overdrive."

He may sound playful but right now his mind is in overdrive, trying to look for clues about what she's been doing and why he hasn't heard anything about it through the criminal grapevine.

	Oh she had been careful. She had been threatened to not screw this one up. And it had gone don so very well that she had to look smug. "Well they won't remember my face," she agrees. 	If he seems a tad stiffer than usual it's because he knows he needs to figure out what she's done before anything bad comes of it. And with the mob, it always ends up that way. 	She wants to tell him so badly. But giving him too much will really hurt her position. She doesn't want to get hurt and she had been getting too close to danger with the mafia. 	He mentally takes a deep breath and tells himself to hide the disapproval. The crimefighting method of getting information isn't going to work on her and he'd be a fool to try so he puts it aside and resumes a tad more playfully, taking a step towards her. He can see she's trying to distract him, and he partially plays along, giving her legs another brief glance. But he's not distracted enough that she can get away, because years of crimefighting tell him that's what she's looking to do now.

"I liked that shirt...on you. Now what will happen if I decide I want it back?" The smirk is a little more devilish and he's gotten another step closer as he says this.

	She's tugging on a warm coat when he gets there. She looks different when she's trying to pull off a civilian look. 	It possibly doesn't help her she still looks pretty. Pretty enough that people are looking. Even dressed down she has the kind of look that draws attention when she doesn't need it.
