Cori
Cori pokes her head out of her dorm room door and glances down either side of the hallway. It's a Sunday afternoon and most everyone is outside soaking up the rays on the beach. She smiles a little to herself and closes the door, then pushes aside the throw rug between her and her roommate's beds. She ducks down to pull a green shoebox from underneath her bed, revealing a pair of tap shoes. It's been a while since she's taken lessons, but she just caught the end of Singin' in the Rain on TV and wanted to see what she could remember. She slips the shoes on and ties them tightly, then moves to the center of the room. She smiles when the taps clack against the tile floor and starts to hop around, trying to find the steps. She's getting really into it when there's a knock at the door. Frantic, she tosses the box back under the bed, fixes the rug, and then shuffles over to the door, opening it to see Roswel. "Oh, hey Roswel," she says, cheeks burning pink. "What, um, brings you down here?"

"It sounds like... like lots and lots of Tic-Tacs shaking around," he says, peering around her into the room. "Are you having a breathmint avalanche?"

Cori laughs, her cheeks still red beneath their freckles. "Um. No. I was..." she puts her hand over her eyes and slaps one of her feet against the ground. "Tapdancing."
