Comment on this entry with one (or more) of my characters and a category (or more than one, if you like), and I'll reply with my top 10. Anything (conceivably) goes, i.e. books, punctuation marks, designers, beverages, etc.

Comment on this entry with a character and three prompts - a noun, an adjective, and a verb - and I'll write a little drabble about it.

(venting got changed to meditation!)

Viola is sitting cross-legged on her bedroom floor, swaying gently to the soft music playing from her stereo. She just got done with her yoga, since it was too hot to walk all the way back to campus to go swimming. So now she's cooling down--a little meditation--before she goes to make breakfast. She takes a deep breath and opens her eyes, then leans back to look at the ceiling briefly before standing up, turning off the stereo, and heading out of her room. She pops a couple of frozen waffles into the toaster and sits down at the kitchen table, sorting through the pile of mail Sebastian left before he went to the art supply store in town. Viola begins to sort through it, putting aside Sebastian's letters and leafing through her own. She pulls out one in a pale blue envelope. It's a letter from her mother. Viola smiles and tears the envelope open, pulling out the letter and beginning to read. Her mother writes the longest letters ever, but Viola's learned which parts are important and which parts aren't. It's almost like a puzzle, picking out the easy way to say what her mother tries to portray so elaborately.
