Comment on this entry with one (or more) of my characters and a category (or more than one, if you like), and I'll reply with my top 10. Anything (conceivably) goes, i.e. books, punctuation marks, designers, beverages, etc.

Comment on this entry with a character and three prompts - a noun, an adjective, and a verb - and I'll write a little drabble about it.

Peter turns the page of the book he's reading, Treasure Island. He doesn't read much by himself, but Wendy's busy or sleeping or not in the living room, at any rate. He likes it better when she reads to him, but the story's so good he can't help himself. He frowns a bit at a piece of clear tape stuck to the next page and tries to pull it off but only succeeds in tearing the page. He makes a noise of frustration and Wendy emerges from the bedroom, a brow lifted at him as she watches him try to stick the page back together. "What's wrong, Peter?"

"I ripped the page. Who puts tape in library books?" he scoffs, scowling at the page.

Wendy moves over to the couch where Peter is laying on his stomach, propped up on his elbows. She peers at the page and lifts a hand to his hair, combing through the mess of curls on his head with her fingertips. "Would you like me to read?" she asks.

"Yes," Peter says quickly, sitting up and handing her the book. "Please," he adds as an afterthought.
