	"Yes. He's just trying to do his job and reassure us. It's not his fault the elevator broke." He scoots over to sit near Max, waiting quietly for a few minutes before he taps him gently on the shoulder. Max had been concentrating on silence, on of his frequent migraines was pounding in his head. When he was tapped he almost reacted angrily, but noted the offered items.

"I'm not hungry, but I could the water." Max accepts it gratefully and pulls out a pill bottle. He pops a pill in his mouth and uses the water to swallow it done. "Thanks," he says, handing it back.

	Oh for the love of... "No, it's a musical series based around a club in some high schools called a Glee Club, where members learn to sing and put on performances. Our method of reproduction is... ah... asexual is the closest term your planet's lifeforms have as comparison. Our regeneration requires the formation of a close emotional bond with another, but it is a genetically singular process."

Varon pauses, then blushes and turns his head. "We are still... uhm... capable of those sort of procreative acts... the sticky stuff, I mean, but it is simply not the way of our culture. After what Avia taught me though, I am at a loss for why my people ever stopped though..."
