Home in Louisiana once agan
After their trip to the prison, Jason was happy that he and Sammy were pulling up to Gran's place to spend some time. He loved his old home, but damn if he didn't love it more because Sammy was with him. Gran met them out on the back porch and smiled, looking spry for a woman who'd had a heart a attack just a year ago.

"Hi, Gran! I brought your favorite secret agent to see you again." Jason grins, going to get their bags.

"I see that, Jason. Be a dear and handle the luggage while I work on getting this poor girl fed. Sammy, you look like skin and bones." Gran frets.

Jason tries not to laugh, giving Sammy an "I-told-you-so" look.

"That might be just a bit out of his range, Mrs. Landon." Sammy plopped down on the sofa to see what her competition for attention was going to be for the weekend. A TV remote? Somebody would pay for /that!/

She almost said he couldn't beat her unless she took him with her, but she remembered at the last moment that she was classified and it wasn't common knowledge that she was quirked. "But it will keep him busy between missions."

	Anything Sammy just said is missed as Jason ponders his grandmother's words. Tricky, he was good at. Tricky, he could do. "Well, then, maybe I will." he says, looking at the remote. He puts it back together as though he's assembling a gun and sets it on the counter. Then he just gives Sammy a grin not unlike the Cheshire Cat. Jason Landon has a plan. 	That smirk? Was shiver-worthy. Being on vacation, Sammy let herself enjoy the entire down-the-spine shiver of anticipation. Because somebody just picked up her challenge and the game was on. 	Sammy appealed to the higher court in the room. "See how he is? First he says I'm great just the way I am, and then he sets about 'reinventing' me. Now it's my coffee. Tomorrow it'll be my pillows.
