What's keeping you from your dream job?

What is keeping me from my job?  A lot of things, let me tell you.  Oh dear where to start...  My dream job...  Ever since I can remember I've wanted to be a doctor of some sort.  Not just a doctor who sits in her office all day listening to people complain that their head hurts or that they have a cough.  No, I want to be a surgeon.  No a surgeon who does lame things like knee or hip replacements.  I want to be a neurological surgeon.  I want to be able to cut into someones head and save their life.  Maybe discover someting new that can help so many people...  And my other dream job is a plastic surgeon.  I don't know what I want to do more neurological or cosmetic.  I think that being able to make people happy, to make them be the person that they want to be, that they want to see in the mirror and not just in their minds...  I think it's a beautiful thing.  Yeah okay, so maybe it isn't what god intended.  But he gave us the technology to do it, so I don't see the problem.  Now my biggest problem with this occupation, my dream job, is that I don't have the grades for it.  I'm not stupid by any means, I just don't have the best grades.  Another problem is that I don't have the money to go to med school.  It's sooo expensive, and I don't have the money.  Another thing keeping me from my dream job is the little part of me in the back of my head saying that maybe I don't want to go away for college, that maybe I'm a little afraid to be away from my family, to be away from the familiar surroundings...
