"Right." Bekka snatched the money back, counted it out and stuffed it in her pocket. Later she would iron out the bills, sort them and make entries into her ledger of the expense. Now she just wanted out of the room, to light a cigarette (or more) and forget that it wasn't even the weekend yet.
She grabbed her jacket, backpack and lighter before heading back to the door. "Call me when you get the bed delivered. And we'll see about that notice."
