Vinnie had been surprised to find himself Cheer Captain. It was a very happy surprise though, and he found himself loving the responsibility of it. He wasn't generally a creative guy like those Sonnier kids were, but he was enough of a choreographer that he liked to try new moves and steps. So when he found out that he was going to be the Captain of the Beauregard Cheerleaders, he went out and got himself some videos and spent a bit of time in his room figuring out some new things.

"Hey, bella, it's fine. I didn't expect that people were out all summer practicing, you know? Lets take that again, yeah, and then I think we're done for today? And don't worry. Your secret is safe with me, babe." He smiled at the blonde twin and moved back to the position he needed to be in.

Ella nodded, pretty relieved. The back of her legs were burning where she'd leapt back into action, thinking she'd be just as flexible as at the end of last year. "You're such a gent" she laughed, before counting down from five and beginning to do the cheer moves in unison with her Captain.

The last go went without a hitch, Ella gave a yell at the end and offered her hand out for a high five, grinning proudly. "I knew we'd get there" she said, taking a long drink from her water bottle. She hadn't realised that it had got a little darker, but it was nice. Cooler, at least.

"I don't think I'll ever get used to how hot it is here, especially once you get back from break, you know?"
