"Some of us are born with natural talent," Gray shrugged, playing it off as if she had been serious. He crushed the butt of his slowly fading cigarette and pulled out another, making it plainly obvious to her that he had plenty he could share if she would play nice.
She snorted at the 'natural talent' part, shaking her head as if she'd just heard a particularly good joke. "You're right, you are funny."
Watching him pull out a fresh cig, Mari wondered if they could stand here all night whilst Gray smoked the whole pack to spire her. Still, at least his cancer would be more accelerated than her own. "Ever so much" she sighed at his question.
She bit her lip as Gray's new cigarette got a little mishapen. "Well what" Mari said, exhasperated and a little confused. She was pretty slow on the uptake as it was.
Mari groaned frustratedly, her own cig has gone out faster than it had lit, and she finally chucked it away.
Clasping her hands to her chest, Mari used her best begging face. "Please Gregorie, can I have one little cigarette? Pretty please? With a cherry on top?"
"SUCK MY DICK" she yelled, losing patience with him. How annoying. "Unless you're willing to run me into town you better give me a goddamn cigarette or I'm not leave you alone for the rest of the week" she threatened, a little panicky that he wasn't being willing to her charms.
"Sounds terrifying," He mused, still grinning. He had fully meant to give her a cigarette by now, but somehow teasing her had become a lot more fun. It was bound to kick him in the ass sooner or later. Probably sooner.
Mari let out a dramatic cry before falling to the floor, face down and flailing like someone in immense pain.
"I'm dying! You're killing me here. Where are you going to hide my body after I die of stress?. My heart feels funny, I can smell burning" she rambled, muffled by the ground.
