Tatum returned the hug as best she could, smiling sheepishly against the kiss to her cheek. When she got blushing, it looked even funnier now, with her hair bleached out instead of it's usual bright red. "I miss you too," she replied, moving back over to where her own mug of tea was sitting on the counter-top. She got down another mug for Frankie, putting in a tea-bag and then adding the water, sliding it her way, along with the honey and the sugar jar. "We, uhm.. have milk in the fridge, if you want to add some?" she offered, before picking up her own mug, taking a little sip.
Smirking at the comment, Tatum nodded her head. "That is the saying, usually.. and I have to say the feeling is mutual. It's been boring as hell without you. I actually got some leveling done," she teased.

Tatum couldn't help but laugh a little at Frankie's question, lowering her mug from her lips to speak. "Just the usual World of Warcraft stuff, don't worry about it," she answered, shaking her head. "Oh, and I told my friends in the game that I wouldn't be online for a few days. They're just impressed that I even know a girl, let alone date one. Wonders of the internet, huh?"
When Frankie mentioned how her home had been, Tatum nodded slowly. "It hasn't been that bad here. This is the first time I've gotten out of bed before noon all week," she teased. "Sera's been kind of weird, though. She was all good for a while, and then her friend came to visit, and now she's being all cranky again. So I've mostly just been doing my own things."

Tatum laughed again, nodding her head. "I hadn't considered that, actually. Maybe she ran out of homework to do? She was already asking me for my work from last year so that she could look over it and make some notes," she explained, rolling her eyes a bit. "I can't imagine being so focused on something like that, but.. she says that about me and my laptop, I suppose."
Glancing around the kitchen, Tatum re-located the honey and sugar, quickly putting them back into the cupboard, before turning on Frankie again. "So, uhm.. you wanna take your bags up to my room? And do.. whatever? I've got a couple joints rolled upstairs, we could go for a walk, or a swim, or.. uhm, we could go for a drive into town, or whatever you wanna do, babe."
Babe, it came so naturally now, but Tatum couldn't help but blush a little. Even though they had been together for a couple of months now, she was still adjusting to the girlfriend aspect of living her life. At least she wasn't as awkward with Frankie as she had once been.

"Swimming it is," Tatum agreed, although she did visibly pale a bit when Frankie brought up her bikini. She could tell the brunette was teasing her, it was in the grin on her face and the look in her eyes. Offering a sheepish smile, she shrugged a bit, eyes on the bag for a moment, before glancing back to Frankie. "Always good to come prepared, huh?"
Lifting her tea to her lips, she drank the last few mouthfuls, before moving over to put her empty mug into the sink. "I guess we should.. uhm, go change and stuff then," she offered, moving over to where her girlfriend was standing, and crouching down to pick up her bag for her. "Ignore the ugly family pictures along the stairs, please?"

Tatum couldn't deny trying to hurry up the steps, attempting to avoid Frankie staring at any of them for too long, but really rather unable to stop her. At least she didn't laugh out loud or anything. "Very embarrassing," she corrected the other girl, rolling her eyes, and holding the door open for her to go inside, before following.
Moving over to drop Frankie's bag unceremoniously onto her bed, she went to her own dresser, pulling open the second drawer and fishing around for a minute before pulling out her own bikini. Glancing over her shoulder at her girlfriend, she offered her another embarrassed little smile. "Do you, uhm, want me to go get changed in the bathroom, or we can both.. uhm, doesn't matter to me, or whatever?"
She was verbal-vomiting, and only half of that sentence even made sense, but she figured Frankie was good at deciphering her awkward babble by now.

"No!" Tatum blurted quickly, knowing her cheeks were only getting more flushed, putting her head down a bit as she spoke. "I just.. uhm, y'know, if you're okay with it, I'm okay with it, it's not like we're.. it's like, no big deal," she continued, before trailing off a bit. She laughed a little, nervously, looking back up squarely at her girlfriend, smiling back. "Sorry, I'm being an asshole, I just.. it's still new, I guess, the not caring? But we're.. I don't mind, really." Tossing the her swimming wear onto her bed, she grasped the bottom of her t-shirt, just going for it and pulling it up and over her head.

Tatum was not much more organized in her undressing, just tossing the discarded clothes onto her desk chair instead of on the floor. Once she had pulled on her bikini, she grabbed the shorts, pulling them on and tying up the front as she smiled over at Frankie. She hadn't stolen too many glances, but what she had seen, she had certainly enjoyed. It was hard to deny the butterflies in her stomach, even still.
"Don't worry about it, I only cleaned it up because you were coming.. it's normally even worse in here," she replied quickly, shaking her head. She moved over to her dresser again, grabbing the container of body butter and some sunscreen, bending over to begin spreading both onto her legs.

"I swear, the action figures aren't even mine," Tatum said, as Frankie moved over toward the shelf. "Well, not entirely mine, only half," she corrected herself quietly, straightening up to begin applying on her arms, and then a small amount over her face. Whenever she went swimming, her cheeks always got burnt before anything else.
"And I know I didn't have to, but I wanted to. I didn't think you'd want to sleep in a pile of my dirty jeans," she added. Taking her bracelets and ring off, she settled them onto the dresser, and grabbed an elastic, pulling her hair back loosely from her face. "I'm ready whenever you are. I just gotta grab a towel."

"It's awesome, isn't it? And I got it on sale," Tatum replied, flinching and grinning a little when she was smacked with the towel.
Going to the linen closet beside the bathroom, she opened the door, grabbing down the towel she usually took down to the lake, and draping it gently around her shoulders.
"They went to get groceries earlier, so they had to drive like.. almost forty minutes away, into civilization as Sera calls it. And my step-mom is the type that likes to pick up everything at once, so she's probably dragging my dad to about two different groceries, a couple of department stores, a hardware store, and she brakes for yard-sales when she sees them," Tatum explained, as they headed down the stairs, and she grabbed her sunglasses and house-keys from a table beside the back-door.
"They said they'd be back by dinner time, at least?"

"I think they'll love you," Tatum replied, smiling a little. "Especially my step-mom, she'll love to have another French girl in the house.. she'll probably prattle at you in your native tongue the whole time or something," she warned the brunette, nudging her gently, and holding the door open for them to leave.
Once they were out, and she made sure it was locked behind them, she glanced over at her girlfriend, and then toward the expansive backyard in front of them. It was hot, and she couldn't wait to get down to the shore, or find somewhere to sit in the shade at least. "Just down at the lake, it's just a couple of minutes down through the trees there, but we have a path. It comes out to a spot that's a little rocky, but it gets more sandy as you walk out further," Tatum explained, fishing into the top of her bikini for just a second, where she had tucked her lighter and a small joint.
She lit it up, hiding the lighter away again, and offering her free hand out for Frankie to hold as they began to walk.

"I can still barely speak it, even with her and Sera speaking it around my head all my life. Understanding it, no problem, just.. my pronouncing is total shit, and writing it isn't any better," Tatum admitted, turning her head to exhale.
Laughing a little as Frankie bumped her, she squeezed her girlfriend's hand gently. "Wouldn't you like to know?" she replied coyly, as they crossed the yard, and eventually began their trek down the path and into the woods, brush and old pine needles crunching under their feet.
