Laying on his belly under a desk in the library, Apple sipped his tea and stared at his old Care of Magical Creatures text book. He had been flipping through the pages like a mad man, trying to find anything. After having read the same passage at least five times he let his eyes go out of focus. Perhaps osmosis or something like that would eventually take over and he would absorb the pages and it would all magically make sense. Right?
