"Yay!" she said quietly but enthusiastically not wanting to call attention to herself and her boyfriend who was in the process of drinking "special" eggnog. "Snuggles is a given," she smiled but eyed the teachers around the room. "We'll have to be sneaky," she said in a conspiratorial whisper.

"Hmm, Anastas de Kooning... evil plot..." she teased him with her thinking face and put her arms around his shoulders. "You are... you are a nice fat kitty boy," she giggled, letting her head drop against his shoulder. She was really beginning to relax around him. It had been a subtle change, taking time to really show but she had stopped punching him for minor infractions, she had stopped freaking out about his sense of humor. There were still moments of shear terror where she would tear away from him but things were changing.

"I am very good at sneaky."

He liked it when she settled into him, relaxed and at ease. He was never sure when she'd push away, but it was taking her longer every time. He was earning her trust, which he thought terrified him more than prolonged physical contact terrified her. "I did not know you had such depths of evil. I am intrigued. Perhaps I am a worse influence than I thought."

"The evilest depths of evil," she grinned. "Yeah, you're a terrible influence. I almost missed curfew once," she joked.

"So... are you ready for a Garcia Family holiday or are you completely terrified?"

"Just you wait. I will corrupt you entirely." He leaned in and placed a very chaste kiss at the corner of her mouth. "You should get out now while you still can," he whispered, but he followed it with a big grin as he pulled back from her.

"Not even remotely. We will have a wonderful time; I am sure of it."

She laughed a little uneasily but shrugged it off with a goofy grin. "Yeah right," she didn't really make it clear as to what statement she was responding to.

"Good. If people start spouting off to you in Spanish or Italian... just nod and smile," she advised.
