He was really grateful that she hadn't plowed right into him, given that he wasn't prepared to go wash his hands in a public place. It would undoubtably lead to something awkward, and uncomfortable with as many people coming in and out of the restrooms.
"Uh," was his first response though, a chant sounding off in his head as he stared straight at her. Don't quote something stupid, don't quote something stupid. "I humbly thank you; well, well, well." He quoted, before nearly slapping himself in the head. That was stupid. Even if she knew it was from Hamlet, she'd just wonder why he was quoting it, wouldn't she?
