Sunny resisted punching him again and only pulled a face. "Let's not," she laughed stepping back again. She liked Grey, she really did, but he still had no sense of boundaries.
"Right? Did you enjoy vacation? Ready to get back to school and have your butt kicked in Quodpot?" she teased.
"Whatever," Gray shrugged, trying to act casual-- but as drunk as he was.. he just looked like he was trying to act casual. Which was never the case when he was hitting on chicks.
"Vacation was alright. Went to my girlfriend's, met her crazy family..." He cringed slightly both at the word 'girlfriend' and the word 'family.'
"Butt kicked? Me? Don't let that win get to your head little girl," Gray laughed, shaking his head. "Lalaurie house has the lead, remember?"
"Ooo! Girlfriend, eh?" she teased. "That sounds... interesting," she laughed. For whatever reason, she had still not met Stas's family although he had spent almost the entire vacation at her house.
"Yeah but Beauregard is coming back strong baby," she laughed. "And I'm not little! I bet I could beat you on a one-on-one."
"Yeah." He replied, if a little defensively. "And... yeah. It was uh. An experience." He cringed a little more, glad to be onto talk of Quodpot and not having to think about Grandma Sommer and her roaming hands.
She did not like the way he said off and grimaced a little. "Well if we're counting on the field then I've definitely kicked your ass more than once," she gave him a playful shove. "And don't you take that tone with me little man."
"Yeah right!" she laughed. "You've never kicked my ass! You have... you have girlie arms," she joked. "Let's settle this like responsible adults," she grinned at him mischievously. "I challenge you to an arm wrestling match!!!"
"Prove it," she poked him in chest. She didn't know if she could really beat him or not but she was just drunk enough to challenge and find out. "Or are you too scared little man?" she teased.
"Ohshiiiiiiiit!" she hollered as she was hoisted over Grey's shoulder. "Not! Fair!" she managed in between giggle fits. She couldn't stop laughing but that didn't stop her from smacking his butt. "Nice game cheater! I'm not scared!" She wiggled a bit to no avail. "GREGOIRE IS A CHEATER!" she announced to the crowded room.
Gray yelped like he had jumped into a pool of very cold water-- high-pitched and laughing. Almost hysterically. "Don't be a sore loser, Sunny!" He nearly cackled.
"When I get down I'm gonna kick your ass!" she giggled. "Maybe I won't though, my weirdo boyfriend might get jealous," she laughed even harder at that, thinking for the first time that Stasi's masochism was funny.
"Yes, you should have!" Gray exclaimed in a voice that compared a bit to that of a maniacal evil scientist. "Guesss... I can't let you down then," He said simply, grinning, not that she could really tell. She could probably tell.
"You doofus! You can't carry me around the whole time!" she reached back to make sure her dress was in place. "Just make sure no one sees my butt!"
"So wait! You don't want to put me down because I'm going to beat you up? You're totally afraid of me!" she laughed maniacally. "Chicken shit!" Big talk for a girl hanging over said chicken shit's shoulder.
"Uh, yeah. Right." Gray tugged the fabric of her skirt down in the most gentlemanly way possible. That is, without touching her ass. Even though it was right there. The last thing he needed was a broken nose on a night when almost half of the people there weren't even allowed to do magic away from the school.
"I'm not afraid of you, really. It's just that I have a really nice view from here..."
"Thank you!" she said when he pulled her skirt down. At least he knew better than to touch her butt these days. She almost patted his shoulder and told him good game but then came that second comment.
"Hey! You're totally terrified of me! Wait a minute! Are you talking about the view of my butt? You're not supposed to look at my butt, you had your chance for that when we dated," she poked him in the side. "And now butt is totally off limits!"
"Try and stop me!" Gray cackled. He was mostly not serious. He didn't really want her to try and stop him, because that would probably involve something broken, and lots of pain.
Sunny grinned mischievously, though they had not dated long, it was easy to find one of Grey's weaknesses in that time. She tickled at his sides momentarily. "Don't make me," she warned still giggling.
Sunny should have known better. Sunny should have really known better. If a boy is carrying you on his shoulder you do not tickle him unless you want him to drop you like a sack of wet cement.
Which is, exactly what happened after Sunny's fingers touched his sides. That and a little bit of surprised yelping. "Oh, shit!"
That's gonna bruise in the morning, she thought to herself as she situated herself on the floor, giggling madly. "Come on, help me up," she held her hands up to him.
Gray smiled sheepishly down at Sunny, "Oh fuck, Lesson learned, miss!" He grabbed her hands and tugged her back upward-- despite the fact that being drunk meant everyone's balance was off.
