Tatum couldn't help but laugh once Frankie did, stepping back from her momentarily. "Impatient much?" she offered, before lifting the edge of her shirt a little off of her waist so that she could dig a hand into the pocket of her jeans. "Seriously, don't laugh, it's kind of dumb," she warned, still fishing around in the pocket. Eventually, she produced a small black box and a badly folded purple envelope. Digging for a second into the other pocket, she came out with a package of cigarettes and a lighter, holding all of it out plainly to the brunette with a grin. "I ordered you a pair of shoes too, but they.. probably won't be in till we're back to school."

Tatum smiled, playfully pinching at the other girl's side. "You couldn't even remember my present? How rude," she joked, laughing. "I don't even care, I'm just like.. so happy to be here. It's like, I felt super bad when your Christmas was shit, and I couldn't do anything, but now we're like.. hanging out, and it's all good. It's fucking awesome," she explained, rambling on a bit as she spoke.
Perhaps it wasn't the most eloquent way of explaining it, but the emotions were still the same. She looked a little embarrassed, and a little high. "Love you Frank," she slurred, that sheepish smile coming over her again, as she leaned more comfortably against the other girl. "Sorry Christmas was lame as fuck," she whispered, pressing her lips against the other girl's neck.

"He's an actor. Well, one actor from a family of actors, I suppose. You need to watch one of his other movies, I'll download Party Monster for you when we get back to school.. I think you'll like it, one of my favorite movies. Maybe I can mention it to Vinnie and we can get a whole bunch of people together to watch it," Tatum suggested, rambling on absently, eventually trailing off.
"Seriously though, I.. don't mind. You going to his house. If that's what you think, I just.. I'm surprised. But it's okay. I'm just.. forget it, right? It's New Years, so fuck it. Let's just have fun."

Tatum couldn't help but laugh at that, easily breaking up the somewhat somber mood that had been creeping up on her. It was like the laughing reminded her just how much she had drank, and how her whole body still felt strange and her head was a little dizzy. "Well, you know.. you're like, always welcome to wake up by my feet instead. Or we could just skip the feet part, and keep the rest," Tatum said quietly, a goofy smile crossing her face.
"I want to wake up next to you," she murmured, leaning in again, her own hand grazing the fascinating wallpaper behind them.
