Quinn pouted a little bit. The fact that it didn't take Michi much to drink anymore was just sad. If it weren't for the baby, Quinn would make sure Michi built that tolerance back up so she could have some real fun.
Her eyes went to the random passerby and she snorted a little bit. Loser. "Ooh, we should! Lead the way, baby mama!" Dancing was always a good idea, wasn't it?
Michiko couldn't help but laugh at the poor kid's expense. She took Quinn's hand and pushed her way through the crowd to the middle of the living room where there were several other groups of dancers. Michi draped her arms around Quinn's shoulders and started swaying to the music.
She let herself be lead through the people standing around the living room until Michi pulled them both into the makeshift dancing area. Just one of the few clear spots in the place, she suspected. She dumped the useless and empty bottle onto someone they passed.
Quinn laughed a little bit as she almost stumbled into Michi, and the girl's arms going around her shoulders helped to steady her. Once she gained her feet, there was very little keeping her from moving in rather close to her friend as they moved to the music.
Michi giggled as they stumbled through the first song, she didn't mind the closeness at all, letting herself lean into Quinn. "Why are girls always better dancers?" she asked, having made the observation earlier in the evening.
At the question, Quinn shrugged. "Maybe because we have a better sense of rhythm? At least generally?" It seemed like a good enough observation to her. She'd seen guys that could dance, but she'd seen many many more who looked like a fish out of water on the dance floor. "Plus? Women just look better doing it."
"Kind of?" Quinn scoffed. "Darlin' there more than 'kind of' a mess. Guys are only good for one thing, and that one thing is something I am personally uninterested in." Sex was, really, the main thing men were good for. Unless you weren't into men, in which case they were mostly useless.
Quinn laughed. That was one of the things she liked about Michiko, despite some of the other people she hung out with. Michi was funny when she was drunk, and she was honest. Then again, that might have just been a side effect of her being drunk.
"I don't doubt it." Quinn let a grin spread onto her face once the laughter subsided. "That's what's good about being with the fairer sex: better sex."
Michi giggled madly at that. "So true! And! Way better dancers!" She couldn't remember if she had said that yet, but she was sure if she had, she needed to say it again. "And girlies look way cutre in glitter," she giggled.
