Keegan forced himself to ignore the nickname again, moving over to lean on the counter himself. "There's tons of other things. Exploding powder dinner rolls, the note on the wall where the fist comes out and hits them - that's always a classic. Set up a bunch of those dark-activated noise makers."
"You're not losing your touch, Mari." He grinned at her. Mari losing her touch would be like him forgetting how to skateboard. "Besides. April Fools is in a few months and you can't miss that, right?"
The pranks he rattled off were like music to her ears and Mari sighed longingly. "Classics" she echoed. "Itchy armpit deodorant! In the Quodpot locker rooms!" Plus that had the added bonus of maybe seeing a boy in a state of undress.
"Oh yeah man, April Fools needs careful, precise planning. I should start brainstorming!"
"Yea! That... too..." The itching powder in the locker rooms had sounded good to him for about five seconds before he realized that included him, if she targeted the Rienzi team. Hopefully Mari would skip the opportunity to get her housemates.
Keegan nodded in certainty. "You should! It's the best day out of the year to do it. I... still need to come up with something..."
Of course, Mari wouldn't dream of inflicting her own team. Besides, LaLaurie had the hottest guys anyway and probably the guys more inclined to be in a state of undress.
"Oh man, maybe we should all like, club together and buy an invisibility cloak" she joked, knowing they were very rare to find. "Endless fun" she added whistfully.
The wistful words that came out of her mouth matched the wistful look in his eyes at the thought of an invisibility cloak. "I would absolutely chip in on that if we found one. I doubt that'll ever happen but... one can dream."
"Well, yes," Keegan admitted, getting Mari's drift and agreeing with a good nod of his head. He grabbed himself another beer, as that was his original reason for coming in, as he continued. "Though, there are ways to get by without a cloak. Like a good disillusionment charm."
Mari stroked her chin thoughtfully. "Disillusionment, eh? You'll have to teach me. That could come in handy, I suck at stuff like that. Man, it'll be so good when we can do magic outside of school!"
"Then it'd be a practice together as I haven't perfected it myself. Yet. But almost!" But he would conquerer it, damnit. Eventually. Because he said so. "And yea, it's fantastic. No worrying about breaking a rule."
