Charlie tried to look sympathetic, shaking his head sadly. "That sucks, what's he got you doing?" Lighting another cigarette, he side-eyed Adelaide. "Probably shouldn't be hitting other girls on campus though" he added, even if it was kind of hot.

Addy shrugged. It was almost over, just the one day left. "Labels. And she hit me! Jesus! Everyone thinks I started it!" She finished off the beer in a huff. "I am completely innocent; look at this face."

Charlie rolled his eyes but smiled anyway. "Whatever you say" he teased, it wasn't exactly a secret that Adelaide was hot, but then it also wasn't a secret that she was kinda crazy.

She grinned. "I say lots of things." People were filtering into the clearing now, and she figured she better let Charlie go so he could talk to other people. She grabbed his shoulder and leaned over to smack a cartoonish kiss to his cheek. "Happy birthday, chump! Give me a heads-up when you want to cash in."
