It felt a little weird to Tatum that she had been back for such a short time at school, and she was already getting ready to go to a party. Single life had been so different; they partied, she stayed home. But now, she often found herself almost excited for parties, for getting ready, picking the right outfit, and going out with Frankie for the night. It was pretty much better than staying in and playing WoW for the entire evening. Tonight was an even better event, since it was Charlie's birthday; not only was it guaranteed to be crazy, but going to his party was less taxing on her than any other party. She knew Charlie, at least on a need-to-know basis, and that made it so much less stressful. She had visited him a couple of days before, getting everything she needed for the night. She and Frankie had arrived around eight, and mingled around slightly. Tatum had tried a little bit of the hard lemonade she brought, and had already gone through two cups of it before nine came around. She was content though, a little buzzed, and just enjoying herself. She saw a few people close by that she recognized, but decided she had other plans in mind. Pulling Frankie's hand gently, she pulled her girlfriend off to the side a bit, away from where most of the party goers were clustered. It was closer to the edge, shaded under some shorter trees, and Tatum ducked just a bit as they moved further back from the crowd. "I got something special for tonight," she informed the brunette finally, grinning at her. "Better than the blackberry kush even," she added, giving Frankie's side a little poke, always enjoying teasing her, but especially so when they had been drinking.

Even in the darkness, Tatum was blushing slightly, grinning up a little in Frankie's direction. "No, silly girl," she whispered, giggling a little and leaning into Frankie's embrace, placing a light kiss against her lips. "Although these are pretty cute underwear, but you can see them later," she added, teasing a little. It was always fun to mess with Frankie, and it was all fair in love and war, since Frankie loved to tease her right back.
"Way better, but much shorter effect," she finally informed her girlfriend, pulling back just a couple of inches, so that she could dig into the small messenger bag hanging off of her shoulder. She had brought it along to carry her things, rather than leaving them laying about the party scene. Bags of weed wouldn't last long that way at all, but that wasn't even what Tatum was after this time. Producing a smaller plastic bag, the ex-redhead held up it up to Frankie. It held some kind of little black seed looking things, and Tatum gave it a little shake.
"Salvia, my love. I got 30x, I thought it'd be cool to try it together? I tried it with my brother last summer, it blows your mind, but it's like.. only a short high, like maybe half an hour. I even brought my pipe," she explained, gently patting the bag. "Wanna go find somewhere to sit?"

"Because we're awesome?" Tatum replied casually, grinning at her girlfriend, before carefully settling herself onto the ground beside the brunette. She leaned into Frankie a little, as she put her bag in front of them, and began to dig around inside. She produced the pipe, holding it gently, and resting her lighter onto her knee. Taking back at the salvia packet from Frankie, she poured a little into the bowl. She'd been warned already just to do one bowl at a time.
"If I start tripping balls, don't let me swallow my tongue or anything," she warned, only half-joking. She held the pipe out to Frankie, and smiling crookedly. "You wanna go first?"

"I told you babe," Tatum replied softly, smirking over at the brunette. She accepted the pipe, holding it up, and inhaling when Frankie lit the bowl up for her. She closed her eyes a little, hating the taste of the potent smoke, but holding it in just the same. Her usual hold for weed was around ten seconds, but she tried to hold salvia a bit longer.
Turning her head a bit to exhale, she coughed just once, before turning back to Frankie. She grinned widely, practically feeling the high coming onto her, squinting her eyes and still grinning like a fool. "Holy shit, dude."

"I'm like a Glo Worm," Tatum replied dreamily, before dissolving into laughter. Unlike her girlfriend, she hadn't stood a chance in staving off the giggles, and she easily flopped down onto the ground beside the other girl. She cuddled into Frankie's side, head resting on her shoulder, as she continued to laugh, pressing her face against other girl to try and stifle it some.
Her extremities felt weird, light and sort of numb, and her mind seemed to be racing all over the place. One minute she was thinking about Frankie, and then about getting another drink, then back to Frankie again and how she wanted to kiss her so bad, and then she was reminded of the thirst again, followed by a slew of whole other topics. Her brain just wasn't keeping up, as she pressed her face into Frankie's arm again, still laughing.
"I'm so fucked, I wish we brought like.. chocolate or some shit," she decided, giggling.

"That's because you're like.. the coolest girl ever obviously," Tatum replied, closing her own eyes as Frankie nuzzled up to her hair. She could see her own lights behind her lids, grinning for a moment, before opening them up again to stare down at the other girl.
She seemed impossibly waifish the more Tatum stared at her, and she began to realize they both did, her own arm looked impossibly skinny, as if they were shrinking or something. She blinked a few times to clear her head, before changing her focus to Frankie's face, smiling at her. "You're so vibrant, it's blowing my mind," she muttered, leaning in a bit closer, just barely apart from her lips. The area around them seemed so bright, even though it was so late at night, the moon seemed like it was lighting up the whole forest.
She felt sort of exposed, under the bright moon, but she didn't care. She felt too happy there to care.

Tatum was sure that her breath was taken away for a moment when their lips touched, the same electric sensation coursing through her body. This was definitely better than the first time she had tried salvia; kissing her girlfriend was a much better trip than just smoking and hanging out in the den with her brother.
"I love," she began, her lips still clumsily pressed against Frankie's, as she faltered for a moment. "Like, this stuff, it's great," she finally added, after a moment of silence, her eyes closing, and a goofy grin crossing her face.
