"Get the fuck out, he's not dorky. He's practically my future husband" Mari joked, pouting slightly. I mean, he must have been in love with her, he totally never sent her to the principal's office even though she was in the nurses room at least twice a week.

"Baby, noone could ever take on a puma and still look as classy as you" she cooed.

Sam couldn't help but laugh. "Future husband? Adrian Ducote? I don't think he's man enough for you Marianne," he teased giving her elbow a little nudge.

He smiled proudly, puffing out his chest a little. "Thanks," he said slinging his arm around her shoulders. "That puma had it coming though," he smirked.

She wrapped a free arm around his middle and leaned her head on his shoulder, still grinning as usual.

"I bet he did. I mean, if anyone looks at you funny you just gotta fight 'em, right? Puma or not." She raised the bottle to herlips againand offered it to Sam.

"Oh hey, you want some? I think it's as close to tasting like baby sick as you canget without actually tasting baby sickfor real."

"Right?!" he asked grinning. "Especially when that puma knocks you off your bike. That fucker came out of nowhere," he joked.

"No thanks babe, I think I'll pass on the baby sick for now," he laughed. "It's never been my favorite taste. Need a mixer or something? Might taste less like baby sick and more like soda flavored baby sick."
