"Oh, good" Mari said, slightly relieved. "I can't deal with all that being comforting junk" she admitted, taking his hand and shaking it bemusedly. She wasn't sure she had ever shaken hands with another member of the student body before.

"Mari" she offered with a small smile. "Who are you here with?"

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mari," he said, smiling slightly. "I'm here with Sibyl Ballantine. Do you know her?" He didn't really know all of Sibyl's friends, though he wouldn't mind to. He was becoming more and more aware of his feelings for her, and his inability to keep them secret much longer. He felt like he may explode from the pressure.
