Sunset over Metropolis
The sun was just setting in the western sky as night settled in over Metropolis. Along with night came another form of darkness, one more sinister and evil. The black lanterns move through the city looking for victims to rip hearts out of and add to their numbers.

Lex Luthor kills a young couple enjoying each other's company on a date, simply because he can.

"It's good being on top." he says.

Jerry was sick and tired of all of this he had really had it up to here with all of this death. He wanted to how one of those things to work without a ring and Luthor's latest kill had really sent him over the edge.

He snapped both hand one to teleport him over to Luthor grabbing him in an arm-lock. Follow by one to immediately teleport them away through wherever he teleported through in another dimension briefly taking them out of theirs while leaving that ring behind something he could easily do with a teleport.

The Black Ring dropped to the ground and Lex's body went limp.

Jerry looked a little shocked that that had worked so well. Then he noticed, Gross, I'm holding a dead body, I'm holding a dead evil super villain's body.

Not particularly sure what he should do he dropped him where he stood before teleporting off to help out more people.
