She Loves You
The Darkstar's ship arrived to chaos.  A Thanagarian war-cruiser was in orbit around the Rannian colony would and what few defensive ships the Rannians had been able to field had already been blasted to scrap.  The real fighting was going on on the surface and sky of the world, Rannian-soldiers in rocket packs dueling with Thanagarians on the wing.

All this, the Darkstars could see from the bridge of their ship.

"By the triple-suns..." Aleea breathed.

Aleea checked the seals on her helmet and rocket pack. "As soon as you're clear, I'm going to Zeta Beam down to the surface, see what's going on there."

"Alerron, the Thanagarians are not responding." the yeoman says.

"Very well. Prepare the airlock. I am going to the surface." he says.

Soon enough, Alerron is streaking toward the surface of the planet.
