Mothers and Daughters
Since being back in San Francisco Cait had spent most of her free time in the bay with Hope. She had her job back at the aquarium and life with the Titans was good. Cait was happy, but she would not deny that she had an empty spot in her heart. She could never return to Atlantis and that hole in her heart would be there for as long as she was exiled.

Cait knew she would see her parents. They still loved her and she loved them and they would be by to visit. Well her mother would be. Arthur was a different story and if he did show up, it would probably be to bring her back to Atlantis. Try to. Cait would not go willingly.

Today was a day off of work and Cait was down in the bay playing with Hope.

She put her forehead against his. "Tell me if you don't think you can't handle being in Atlantis. I can go alone. I don't mind."

"I... want to go with you. Atlantis is always going to be a part of your life, hopefully a big part. So I need to figure out a way to be able to do this, or its going to make things worse."

"I want you there," she said. "I will do my best to help you because I can't do this without you. I will be at your side and in here," she said as she tapped his forehead lightly. "If we can't do this, then we come home. It's that simple."

"We have been through a lot so far, but this is Arthur we'll be dealing with." Cait loved her father, but Arthur could be very difficult to deal with. "We can deal and get through this."
