Happy Birthday Marissa
Maria wasn't exactly sure what to get Marissa for her birthday, but she had to get something. It was Marissa's eighteenth birthday and that was a big one. Maria remembered hers quite fondly. It was the birthday that ended up sitting in jail cell for a few hours. The memory made her smile.

Maria had gone the safe route in terms of a gift. A certificate for the works at a great spa Maria recently found and the best Belgian truffles. The gifts were accompanied by a card and Maria urged Marissa to go raise some hell on her birthday and to have fun.

Throwing herself back into work was the only thing making her stay sane (that and helping Tim, but no one knew that but her, really) so it made sense to her that on her birthday (at least the wee hours) she'd make her way to the Cave, complete with the pretty Tiffany box from Terry.

She had managed to open it and was really excited about the necklace--Tiffany blue was close to robin's egg blue, right?--when she came face to fender with the bike.

"HOLY SHIT BATMAN!"
