It's Friday Night: Do You Know Where Your Superhero Kids Are?
Henry grins as he makes certain the bowls of chips are filled. Sodas are available. He's got a hidden stash of beers in his room, but... it's an underage superhero party. They're not visible to most. Those who want one will know to ask him.

People will be arriving soon. He's got tunes, he's got snacks and drinks, he's got games set up to go, and he's got superhero kids coming from all over. While the primary purpose was to make certain the YJLA got a chance to meet Avalon and Josh, the Titans and others have all been invited, too.

This party will rock.

Finished speaking with Jon and the nice Wonder Girl, Josh has picked up a soda for himself. He actually smiles now. When Henry calls his name again, Josh looks over and blinks. "Yeah?"

He looks at Jai a moment and shakes his head slightly as his metahuman sense picks up on him. "Woah...you're certainly full of energy," he remarks. There's a pause. "And your...sister's in the room?" he asks, glancing around. The feeling of two speedsters is new to his sense. "Oh, sorry. I'm Josh. Nice to meet you, Jai," he says, offering a hand.

Jai follows him over to him and sees Josh. He pauses a moment, screwing up his courage (and pushing down his objections) to meet the guy.

"Yeah, Iris is my sister. Look, I want to start this off by saying...thank you. You saved Henry's life and had his back when the rest of us couldn't. He's my best friend, and I'm glad you were able to help him when he needed it." Jai says.

"He's got a pretty high opinion of you, so...yeah. You're okay in my book." Jai says, offering his hand to shake.

"Kid...Flash...?" the color drains from Josh's face and the empaths in the room might just pick up on the wave of panic. He glances Iris' way and nods slightly before his attention snaps back to Jai.

"Y-yeah...things are good here. Henry, Ava, and Mr. Jordan have all been really nice to me," he says. The healer takes a deep breath quickly.

"Jai...I am so sorry. So very sorry," he begins. "For everything. I know I can't ever make up for everything my father did to your family...all those people but I am really sorry. I'm doing everything I can to try helping people and healing people and I am so very sorry. If you ever need anything, I'll do anything I can to help you out just...oh man...I'm sorry," he rambles.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Chill man!" Jai says as the apologies start. He looks at Henry, wanting him to know that he didn't start this.

"Look, Henry explained who you are, and I'm...I'm working really hard not to hold who your dad was against you. Let's just agree to take it easy and figure this out as we go. I can't really do much more than that right now." Jai says.

"Henry is my friend and he believes you're trying to better than where you came from, and I believe in Henry Jordan. So, we have a mutual friend." Jai says.

	Josh quiets down quickly and tries to calm down. He listens to what the speedster says and nods. "Okay...okay..." he trails off, swallowing. "Oh, well, thanks. Not that I'm turning you down, but people DO get sick so that they can get better, in most cases. Besides, I'm not going to insult you by treating you like a walking cold-remedy.

You're a person, first and foremost." Jai says.

"Ouch, sorry. Nothing against Henry's school, but...I went there once, just to hang out. The place is a viper's nest and that's the nicest thing I can say about it. Henry's the only cool guy there, so you and Ava lucked out." he says.

Josh blinks a moment and then smiles. "Man, it's kinda weird. You guys here are like the only ones who after learning about my powers didn't immediately start trying to get me to use my powers like that," he says. "Thanks," the healer adds.

He winces. "Is it really that bad?" he asks. "I mean we met some cheerleaders from his school that were pretty mean but..." he trails off. "Yeah, guess we did luck out."
