Boys, Girls, I can't help it, Baby.
Sally hadn't been looking forward to the trip to Ivy Town. Jude Roth was giving a guest lecture at that architectural school, and the whole family was going to stay for Sally to check out the University.

With how much she and Dad had been Not Talking lately, she wasn't looking forward to time in the car with Daddy trying to make peace. But somehow... it had worked. Dad had admitted he was wrong as they were driving up. He'd apologized to Sally and Daddy for the way he'd been behaving. It was really a relief. Sally was so happy that when they were there, she wasn't slouching and focusing constantly on keeping away the stares, feeling even more vulnerable and miserable because it was too hot to wear her overcoat. She just felt happy and didn't worry about things.

"I see." And oh gosh, she needed to rein herself in. Good thing it didn't seem to be affecting Michael too hard. He seemed all smart and totally on top of things.. Maybe he was gay; that usually kept it from hitting people too hard.
Sally focused on trying to get it under control like Miss Craft had been showing her. She had some minor success... she was still far away from total control.

	Oooooooor maybe Michael isn't paying attention to where he is going. Michael had took her a good distance the wrong direction, and, once Michael had realized that, was about to turn and then nearly tripped over a very obvious planter. "Damn. Sorry about this. A quick glance to the wall reports the time - 11:48pm.

"Crap. I still have some studying to do. I'll let you on your way then. Sorry about not being able to show you more."

And there was a gnawing at Michael to *want* to show her more.

	As they part ways, Michael tries to place just why that woman called his attention. it was...it was really weird. Women should be the last thing on his mind, after the whole mess with Traya. So why was he so interested. He had to get the hell away right now. (Reply to this)(Parent)
