TDRoK: The Eve of Destruction - The Mongol Fight
Mongol had abducted the parents of young up and coming heroes and subjected the adults to a Black Mercy. Their children banded together and went to save their parents. The battle was taking place at Mongol's base and the kids were on their way to saving their parents.

During the middle of the battle a flash of light momentarily blinded everyone and Kang stepped out of the portal.

The tide of the battle started to shift and things that happened before started to change.

	Unlike his teammates, Dory isn't armed with projectile weapons. Fortunately, he's armed with arms. He leaps into the middle of the fray and starts grappling the snakes, trying to keep them away from the adolescent-seeming victims. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Mjolnir connects, sending the alien warlord flying back. However, a combination of his natural durability and protection created by his rings, he gets up relatively unscathed.

"I do not know who are, but you've made a fatal mistake interfering in my affairs!" Encapsulated in a golden aura, he flies forward, intent on ripping the interlopers apart with his own hands. He decides to start with the hammer wielder, throwing ring-amplified punch.

Sarah wasn't expecting that level of strength. She's fast enough to get the shield up, but his rush still slams her, hard, against the wall.

Pinned, she tries to focus - and is glad for the fact that he's probably not familiar with Mjolnir - returning to her at this very moment while she tries to keep his attention on her by kneeing for his gut as best she can, in hopes the hammer will get him off of her on its way back.

Focused on Sarah, he doesn't Natasha as the blast hits him in the back. He snarls and turns around, ringshield in place just as Mjolnir connects again. Again he flies back, but uses the rings to right himself.

"Enough!" His hands extend out. A construct of a warhammer like object swings toward Natasha. Another was a hand-like construct went for Mjolnir while another went for Sarah's face.

	Sarah is grabbed, but gets the shield up to keep the hand spread enough it can't easily start crushing her. Unable to see, but able to hear, she kicks out for Mongol, and reaches desperately for her hammer. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Natash was able to dodge the yellow warhammer with ease. She swooped to avoid one of the snakes and turned her attention on the big guy. Her suit was made for stealth and wasn't heavily armed like a normal Iron Man suit, but it could still hit. She sent repulsor blasts at the big guy. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Mongul stays well out of range of Sarah's kicks, smirking at her inability to strike him. With the female occupied, he focuses on the construct in an attempt to lift the hammer. It was a formidable weapon, he would have it.

Again the armored woman struck at him, but the shield created with the power of ten Sinestro Corps rings was more than enough to block the effects.

"So you insist on provoking me? That suit will not protect you from my fury." One of snakes suddenly morphs, it's face splitting, turning into a barrage of tentacles which made their way to grasp any part of Natasha they could.

Gwenny, Sarah could hug you, when all this is over. Training with her dad, she could work out military direction in her sleep by the time she was seven.

She stops trying to hit Mongul, and instead reaches for the hammer, lifting it, feeling some resistance - he may be trying to lift it too...

Guessing he won't be worth it, she taps it once, then drops it for the second tap to send its reserves of electricity through anyone touching it. Indoors, she can't call the storm... but she guesses just the hammer might be enough to catch him off guard.

	Apparently despite not lifting the hammer himself, but with the power of his rings, the hammer sound sense the unworthiness of the ring wielder and would not move. When Sarah channels power into it, the constructs around it shatter. Mongul's is startled by the sudden burst of power, weakening his ties to the other constructs, and temporarily blinding him. He's clearly stronger than her - somewhere in Hulk territory, she figures. The constructs are... she's not even sure what, but she figures she can't give him any chance to recover, or they're in big trouble.

She'd love to try and catch her breath, give the hurt a moment to die down, but there's no chance.

The hammer flies to her hand, and she attacks, putting everything she has into power while she has an opening.

	Natasha drives him into Dory, who in turn knocks him toward Sarah. Before Mongul can properly orient himself, he's left open to Sarah's strike. Even with his shields and natural durability, the barrage of blows are staggering. He had underestimated them, and was paying the price. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	That's enough of that. The timeline is de-stabilized, even if not as much as he might like. Kang drops a series of high explosives, and reaches for Mongul. "There will be another time. Come with me." he suggests to the disoriented would-be conqueror before activating his chronal teleporter. There will be plenty of other opportunities. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Natasha knew explosives when she saw them. She flew at top speed at the explosives and grabbed them. There was no time to get everyone out of there before they went off. She encased herself and the explosives in a force field and hoped the field would be enough to contain most of the explosion. The explosives went off. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Tasha!" That's all the time she has. Sarah gets the shield up and dives in front of Gwenny. The force field prevents the building from collapsing on everyone... and after the boom, things get very quiet. (Reply to this)(Parent)
