On Matters of the Heart
Well, this was it. It's weird that not two weeks ago he would have thought he would be on a date with Asherah Curry, princess of Atlantis. Sure, she was cute, but he never took notice of her in that way. Maybe it was the blond hair that he had come to associate with a terrible romance. Maybe it was the way she kept to herself, her shyness having him overlook her as a possible romantic interest. Maybe he just hadn't considered that she would be interested in him. His luck with women was shitty and his ability to tell of romantic interest was even worse that his luck.

And yet here he was. He had stewed over it a lot. He had even scored the lowest he has ever had on a test because of it (B+). And now it was time whether it was just him feeling bad for ignoring her or if there was really something there that was attracted to her.

Michael starts leading them back down the ramp, his hand on her hips and he's really taken a shine to that sensation.

"It's weird to think that this whole time you had a crush on me and I didn't know it."

It's a joke, honest. He just doesn't know how truthful that may be. It did take him forever and they had known each other. The rest of the walk down was nice, although they weren't too far from the end.

"So, do you wanna walk there or catch a cab?"

	She's not protesting. But he will get a playful bump from her and a slight smirk. She's not saying no to him having her closer though. It's just chilly enough for her to want to be close. 	The bump will get a smile. Good to see her coming out of her shell like this. Maybe dating her was a good thing if this were the result. "It can be good, but unlike what a lot of hippies believe it's not amazingly healthy nor is it always vegetarian friendly. But you can find some stuff that fits well any issue with diet." With everything that's happened to him in the last few months, from Blackest Night to now, he sure as hell didn't expect to be having this much fun with a lady for a while. It had been the furthest from his mind. And now here they were, he and Ash, at a Korean restaurant having a great date.

Yes. A date.

Once Michael makes his business and heads out of the restroom, he finds the corner that Ash got them and, with a quick motion to a waiter, orders drinks and menus.

"What sounds good to you, Ash?"

Hmmm. He has no clue as to what he wants. He's not one to frequent Korean places aside from that Korean barbeque place near campus, and the times he's gone there there could be counted on a single hand.

"I'm curious about this sundubu jijgae. I think I'll give that a try."

Also, he may move his chair the tiniest bit closer to her. They have have the corner table but he's sitting next to her. And intertwining his hand with hers.

	See that just leaves her smiling. She likes having him close by. It's very.... nice. So she will take advantage of this by rubbing the pad of her thumb against his hand. "They have a lot of stuff here it looks like. Seems like.... a good place for us to have come to." Plus people are busy with their own stuff so she doesn't have to feel too shy.
