The Ice Princess, the Knight and the Ice Dragon (bendytimed to Christmas Eve)
Cait slipped her hand in Ty's as they exited the building where they lived. The San Francisco night air was cool and a blanket of fog had settled over the city. The streets were mostly empty despite the early hour. People were home with their friends and loved one as was typical on Christmas Eve.

Tonight was set aside for time with Ty. Tomorrow there would be time to spend with her family (not looking forward to Arthur and Ty being in close quarters) and the Titans. Tonight it was the time for a Christmas tradition. The Ice Princess had to be save from the Ice Dragon by her dashing Knight.

"I'm glad we get to do this," Cait said. Being dead last year made it a little difficult to do last year. Cait couldn't express in words how glad she was that they could do this and what it meant to her.

Cait led him into their bedroom. "I'm going to step into the shower for a moment," she told him. Her skin was starting to feel a little too tight and she needed some water. She also had to put her pajamas on. Despite being naked in front of Ty a few times, she still changed in the bathroom.

"I can scrub your back, if you like?" If they're going to talk about sex, really talk about it, maybe its time to try and slowly ease some of the barriers?

The request came as a surprise. She tilted her head and looked at him. She focused on their link to see how he was feeling. Surprisingly calm.

"Sure," she said. "I need to be wet for a few moments."

At the moment, there's definitely some nervousness under it all, but he's riding the high of her agreeing to marry him, and taking things in slow steps. While he's not perfectly calm, he's looking forward to this, and trying to look at it as a step, rather than everything at once... which can make a lot of difference. He starts to undress to get ready for the shower.

Cait removed clothes as she walked toward the shower. She also sent a silent prayer to Poseidon and Athena that this wouldn't backfire on them. Completely naked she stood in front of the shower and reached in to turn it on. She took a deep breath and looked over her shoulder to look at Ty.

He admires her when she undresses, and so far, manages to remain... well, more aroused now, but mostly pretty calm. This isn't a big commitment, just one more step, right? He keeps telling himself that, they're not going to do anything big, just shower.

Cait smiled at him before she stepped into the shower. The water was mostly cold. She didn't like it hot or even warm. She was used to cold ocean water.

She turned and held out a hand to him.

He takes her hand - that show of support helps. He doesn't mind the cold at all. Really, temperatures don't bother him one way or another, so this works fine, even if it doesn't show signs of the typical 'cold shower' effect.

Cait stepped into the spray of water and pulled Ty in with her. Her back was to him and she released her hands to pull both of his arms around her waist. She leaned back against him, her head turning to the left toward his. She smiled and placed a kiss on his jaw.

A sigh slipped out of her and she savored the feel of the water beating down on her and the feel of Ty next to her. Slowly she strengthened the bond that they shared. She bared her body to him and now she was baring everything else.

The thoughts running through his mind are somewhat more graphic than usual, but he's keeping it together. His chest presses to her back, his arms to her waist, his mostly stiff shaft against her ass, the first two familiar, the last somewhat new - but he's assuring himself this is just one step, and she's right there for him - and as his wife, always will be. For now, that is plenty comforting.
