Happy Birthday, Princess!
When Cait gets home from work, Ty is all dressed to go out, not in his lab as usual.

<i>Happy Birthday, love. What do you think of going out for pizza to celebrate?</i> comes the telepathic question as she's heading up the walk. No huge deal, nothing fancy - but its always seemed to work fine for most of their occasions.

	He returns the kiss with a small smile. "Not so much the grant writing, but the overall project is just my kind of thing. Lots of time, lots of math, end result being something helpful, but no time limits, no real expectations of a huge breakthrough any time soon, since so much of this is firmly in the realm of theory.... so no pressure." 	"I'm pretty sure I can. The whole space warp thing is fascinating. And if the grant goes well, and they like the initial equations, its possible a paid research position may open up next year some time. 	"They aren't that tight," Cait assured him. "We can pay the rent, eat and we have a little spending money. We're nowhere where we used to be." 	Hating Captain Stingaree is mutual. He's more afraid, really, of Black Hand - worse implications in all there. But Stingaree holds a special place of hatred. Which may be why he's come up twice. "Ok, I guess that's true. Small steps." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
