Trust me, you'll have fun
Maria's efforts to get Jon to relax and have fun continued. It was Thursday and it was their night out and Maria had come up with something new for them to do. Karaoke. She'd bet a million dollars that he had never done karaoke in his life, or even been to a place where they had karaoke. It was time to introduce the Boyscout to karaoke.

She waited outside for him to show up.

He chuckles. the eye roll was mostly in jest. Now that he's getting used to her, he doesn't mind so much. He still blushes - but its all part of the entertainment package.

"On you? Ok. Whipped cream." he responds, giving it a moment for that to sink in. Her mouth filter may be on - but he can still play too now and then - and has to catch her off guard now and then.

He grins a little more after a moment, and adds, "Since that's not on the menu though, the cheeseburger and fries looks great."

	All things considered, he seems ok with this. Probably has something to do with the fact she'd be trying to get him back whether he'd said anything or not. She may try and be good now and then, no question, but sooner or later, either the filters would fail, or she'd run out of tolerance for not getting into mischeif. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Unlike her, he's mostly pretty easy to figure out - he's just glad he manages to surprise her every now and then. 	He gets up on stage fairly quickly, going into the Foo Fighter's Learn to Fly, suitably enough. Once again, its not quite a spot on Dave Grohl, but its close, and in perfect tune, at least - enough to get quite a bit of positive response from the crowd by the time he's heading back to the table. 	Maria looked over and saw the guy motioning to her. "I'm up now." She gave him a big smile and then went up to the stage. Maria picked Nancy Sinatra's These Boots Were Made for Walking and there was a considerate amount of applause when she was done. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
