The flow of drugs through Gotham was like a tidal wave most of the time, but occasionally Huntress and Robin managed to stem the tide. Huntress had been working for weeks gathering information on her latest targets. She had been watching, tracking and collecting information on all people involved. She was almost ready to make a move. Almost.

Tonight she was following a shipment. She knew how they were coming into the city, who was receiving them, who was moving them, but the final destination before they hit the streets was the unknown. Tonight she would find out and then they all could be taken down.

She watched from her rooftop perch across the street from the warehouse.

	The scowl did nothing to her. She was used to scowls. Uncle Bruce was the king of scowls. "Better than having the drugs on the street," Huntress said. "I did what was necessary given the circumstances and I'm done defending my actions." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Just because anyone who puts on dark colors and the bat symbol thinks they own Gotham doesn't mean they do. And, of course, the Bats have such a great record at working cooperatively with other people. No thank you. I did the work to track the cartel from Mexico into the city. "You think I think I own Gotham? Please." She rolled her eyes. "You don't know me. You may know the previous Bats, but not me. I'd just like a head's up if I'm going to be sharing turf with someone. So I don't mistakenly kick their ass."

She smirked a bit. It was hard for Maria to be serious all of the time.

"Skanda, as in the Hindu god who was the son of Shiva, or as the guardian of Buddhist monasteries, or am I totally off the mark?"

Maria didn't take responsibility well, but she did have a brain. One that Bruce and her parents made sure was educated in religions, philosophy, art, music, history, math and sciences.

	Huntress smiled and patted his cheek. "I like you. Maybe we can team up sometime in the future." She started walking away, stopped, blew him a kiss and then started climbing down the fire escape. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Yeah, he's sure that would go over real well. Somehow, he doubts she'd care for his methods. On the other hand - at least if she's going to get in the way, she's cute. He lets her go off her direction, heading the other. Time to come up with a new plan. (Reply to this)(Parent)
