A surprise visit!
"Knock, knock! Anyone home in here?" Alex Rice-Matthews calls as he steps into the HQ of the Justice Society of America. Now, it's not strange that he does so. The kid spent a lot of time growing up there, is the grandchild of a founder, and the son of a former member. He's been there a lot.

What is different is the red and green uniform he's got on complete with his grandfather's logo on his chest. And the bright green ring on his finger. He's been doing his best to keep the fact that Grandpa Alan gave him his ring secret, wanting to surprise everyone. And now he's ready to reveal it, confident he's been training hard enough.

"Don't tell me everyone rushed out without me," he laughs and he closes the door behind him and looks around.

Not everyone is gone. Steven just wasn't sure he should be answering the door when no one knows him other than Will and the girls. But when there's no answer after a bit, he zips downstairs, still in the baby blue bathrobe with the duckies on it. Definitely out of place next to a costume, but oh well.

"Oh, hey." he says, trying to search through his memories. There's something about the guy - that ring... its important to the Flashes for some reason, some kind of close ties.

Ah, there it is. "Hey... a green lantern."

Alex jumps slightly as someone just zips down. He's expecting Kid Flash or Impulse but the guy in the bathrobe is a surprise. He looks the speedy guy over and offers a slight wave.

"Hey...fuzzy duck man?" he guesses, an amused smirk on his face. The ring flickers slightly with green light, Alex prepared to fight incase this random speedster turns out to be an enemy.

	He extends a hand. "Close enough. Steven Garrick." he replies, extending a hand. "I'd say Flash, but there's a handful of those already and its probably confusing or something, and 'the best looking Flash' just sounds egotistical. Alex starts to say something but pauses. "Yeah...definitely don't want my aunt and uncle showing up right now. Or my dad for that matter," he says, quick shiver running up his spine.

"Right, hold still then," he says, holding his hand towards Steve. The ring flashes and sends a thin green beam towards Steve. With a quick flash, Steve'll end up in green jeans and a t-shirt with a lightning bolt logo. Alex smiles and lowers his hand. "There ya go. Just don't get too far away or it'll be right back to the ducks."

	With a smirk and another flash from the ring, Alex adds a replica of Mr. Garrick's hat to Steve's head. It's green like the rest but otherwise looks the part. "Well once they see me with the ring there won't be too many questions. Except maybe asking why I was putting cloths on ya instead of off," he jokes, in a pretty good mood. He tips the hat, quite pleased with it, obviously, and not missing a beat. "I should have known, with the snappy fashion sense. Afraid your cousin is more my type, but I'll still buy the pizza and soda if you can give me some dirt on your cousin, or maybe Wendi? Well, when I find a source of income, anyway. Wonder if Mom and Dad will agree they owe me a lot of back allowance?"
