Break out!
Black Mask stood a good distance away from Arkham Asylum for the Criminal Insane. The bitter cold didn't seem to bother him as he stood there. He had been out in the cold for some time, but he was going see the conclusion of his work. It had take quite some time to make the preparations. He had sent messages inside to the inmates, making them an offer. If they chose to accept it, they'd meet him here. If they didn't, well he didn't care where they went. Even those would serve a purpose.

The night was rocked by the sound of explosions as large parts of the building's walls exploded outward.

Black Mask smiled as fire and smoke filled the night.

The inmates of the asylum started escaping out into the night. Including the Joker.

Escapes from Arkham Asylum were sadly rather more common than they should've been. But a lot of the times it was only individual escapes, full out all of Arkham breakouts were not common.

So when the alert came that something was happening at Arkham, Thomas swore under his breath. But that was nothing compared to the stream that started when the footage popped up to show the place coming down.

He wasted no time. To the Batmobile it was.

	You had to love the efficiency of Arkham. Getting your gear back was never more than just a quick jog down the hallway. Firefly took to the air, gazing down at the lovely flames licking over the damaged asylum. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Sigh, Firefly to start it seemed. He'd just make it all fall down faster with his gear. The Batmobile zoomed in and screeched to a halt as the top slid down. Thomas shot off a smoke bomb to hit the flyer and explode in his face. Next was the grapnel launcher to shoot off and go for grabbing a leg. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The smoke-bomb strikes true, but the resulting spin sends Firefly out of the way of the launcher. He dives fast, bringing his flamethrower to bear. "Some people just can't appreciate a good show.." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The flamethrower only has so much distance, so the diving towards him brings Firefly closer. Good.

Thomas had slipped out of the batmobile and onto its roof. When the flames came, he ducked out of the way, his suit shielding him from any heat that did hit, and used the batmobile as a jumping off point, to dive towards firefly and once again shoot off the grapnel launcher at a much closer distance.

	A massive outbreak at Arkham Asylum that definitely didn't escape Question's notice given everything else that had been going in Gotham. He set out to help around up some of the escaped inmates and see if they could provide him with any information to help with his investigation. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Of all the weeks to visit Gotham... Richie ducks into an alleyway to get his 'costume' in place again. Really, all he'd been trying to do was go out to buy an electric kettle. He was slowly but surely getting used to living out of his backpack. It was just a reasonably large backpack now. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Okay, not to profile, but that guy definitely looked like a supervillain. Richie manages to sprint along, keeping him in sight, before pulling a discus from his pack and hurling it, trying to take him out at the knees. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	...well that wasn't supposed to happen. Richie didn't miss... not unless something more than he could tell was going on. Using another sprint to get the running start he needs, eh jumps to a fire escape and hurries up to the rooftop. 	Firebug was happy to get out of Arkham. He had spent the better part of the past fifteen years in Arkham. He had been out a few times, but his freedom had been brief. Now he just wanted revenge on everyone responsible for putting him in there. First on his list was Huntress. He wasn't going to go after her, but her family and he knew exactly where to start. 	Helena Bertinelli had just wrapped up her last class of the day and was putting papers in her bag to take home and grade. Teachers didn't work 9 - 5. 	Firebug has found a place to watch from a large distance away. There just weren't going to be many opportunities like this one. 	Helena's phone rang and she stopped to dig it out of her purse. She found it, tapped answer and put it to her ear. "Hello? Hi honey. Dinner? Sure. I'm just leaving the school now.
