Pippi spends a few more seconds staring - and then makes a beeline for one particular person. Her tiara is telling her that's the only person here for whom compassion will do any good. There's almost no signs of life. But almost is close enough. Only mostly dead. And when someone is only mostly dead, something Princessy or other might apply. She kneels down, pressing both hands to his chest. He turned to Barbie at hearing the familiar language. "I..I will try." He took a settling breath. "I am a clerk, I work in the offices down the hall. I was bringing Mr. Jia a notice from back home when I heard a scream. I cam into the room and I saw Gang, a colleague, his arm..it was some manner of fleshlike blade..he..he ran it through Mr. Jia's neck." he took another breath, shaking a little as he remembered. The realization also causes the general to pause for a time. "A strong shapeshifter..I believe I know who it is you seek. He goes by the name, Proteus, and is a former metahuman agent of the Ukrainian government. He went freelance some time ago, though lately he has targeted Chinese operations. He has never been this brazen before..we suspected he has some manner of headquarters in Thailand, though their government has not given us leave to investigate, as he has committed no crime there." The general's tone turns sly, but subtle. "My government as such will not allow the Great Ten to investigate further, nor are we allowed to speak of what we know to outsiders." As he talks a series of coordinates appear on one of the screens. "I find my hands tied as I cannot tell you what I know." The coordinates, when properly examined, will pinpoint a city in Thailand. The August general didn't hear Pippi, which was likely for the best. "As do I. I will be conducting investigations my end. Should someone find Proteus, he is a wanted criminal in the People's Republic, it would be a legitimate reason to contact me." More information is shown at the bottom of the screen. "Should someone find Xian..there are no words for my gratitude. Good luck to you." After that the feed cuts off. (Reply to this)(Parent)
