It was really called Skuttlebutt?

Kev boarded the Korbinite ship -- Korbinites? Not something he knew about -- and wondered what on Earth he was going to be able to do.

They were going to be looking for someone called the Grandmaster. Not a Family Story. So he wasn't really sure.

	The minotaur and the mindless ones met in the middle and the sounds of battle quickly filled the air. The minotaur tried to chop and slash the mindless ones and they in return hit the minotaur with lasers from their red eyes. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Bill spun his hammer a few times to build up power, then let it fly, grabbing on to the unbreakable thong. In an instant, he and Kev were propelled through the air, flying through the maze at incredible speeds only one with the power of a god could navigate. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Kev winces and hisses slightly and holds onto Bill tighter as the peripheral effects of one of the lasers come close enough to singe his back slightly. That was going to hurt for a while.

But they'd pulled ahead, and gotten some of the Mindless Ones off the job. That was the important thing. He tries to keep his eyes open and observe everything they can see flashing by. Still processing.

He would have said it was a shame he couldn't turn walls into bees anymore, if he wasn't incapable of actual wanting his powers back.

	And as they appear to be getting near to the center indeed, both by what little Kev can figure of positioning and by the intensity of their viewer's attentions, Kev notices as they trigger something Bill immediately flies over before it can affect them. Behind them the minotaur battles the mindless ones. They have the advantage of numbers, but the minotaur is bigger and stronger. It is an even match.

The other mindless ones continue to chase after Bill and Kev. One falls into a pit after a section of the floor suddenly opened beneath them. The others press on.

As Bill and Kev fly spikes shoot out from both sides of the walls.

And this physicist desperately tries not to analyze Bill's shift in pace and positioning.

There is much gasping as they narrowly avoid the spikes, and then Kev drops down from Bill just for a moment, because he's seen enough of how it works to figure how to reset it -- and he's definitely wanting to reset it. Quickly and efficiently and right before their tagalongs will be rounding the corner to reach them.

Then he'll grab onto Bill again.

Bill nodded his approval of Kev's tactics. Were he not so distraught over the loss of Thor, perhaps he would be thinking clearly enough to have thought of it himself. As it is, his mind steel rages to avenge his Oath-Brother.

Still, even with his mind distracted, he holds the power of Asgard and the power of the storm, enough to sense the discharge of electricity coming their way from another trap, which he absorbs into his hammer, to save if necessary for later use.
