...or Susan's chest. that's a google of a whole nother colour.

I think creativity is a good thing. That's why I did the comic page. Things can be redundant, but I suppose if you are lettingsomeone know you love them, how it's crafted is mute.

Though, in LJ or IJ I saw this one honour that was impressive. looked like a photo montage of a heart for someone. and the pictures were them, as friends.

If it were really only about letting someone know you love them, then merely sending an e-mail or a text would suffice. I have lots of really sweet, awesome friends. I don't really think it's necessary to praisebook them, and then have them praisebook me immediately after, and then post three honors with the same theme, the same compliments and the same names.

It's just a bit silly to me. But as it's been pointed out, I could leave if I want. I now have someone up there's permission (thanks, by the way, I really appreciate it!), so I'm free to go. I'd really rather stay though, since sometimes the actual honors outweigh the annoying, repetitive graphics that are merely there to meet the quota. :)

I see your point, that you are making. I don't honor often [this is my 4th time total], because I only honor those I feel deserve it, if that makes sense. So I see your point. Don't entirely agree, but I can at least understand where you are coming from.

Maybe next week will yield more creativity and diversity.

Exactly. Neither do I. I do it when I feel that someone needs it, as in when they're down and feel bad and they need a boost. I do it to remind them that they're loved and that they have someone out there who cares. Or, I'll do it when someone's done something super great that I think is worthy of public recognition.

But a lot of this is just gapfilling type stuff, and I don't enjoy it.

Hopefully!

Thank you also for not attacking me and recognizing that it is only an opinion. I appreciate it. Clearly your honors were not unfounded. =)

You are very welcome. I didn't think that your original comment was an attack either. It didn't seem that way.

Mine was based on the fact [info]mahasen, the person my honor is actually for, is very sick right now. Yet she still finds the time to send my Fantastic Four scans and sign on AIM to see me and talk to me. I wanted to make her laugh and tell her she's special at the same time. :3

The honors that bother the piss out of me are the ones there is no name on. I sorta want to know who is getting the recognition. or group ones, I don't like. I mean I do honestly appreciate you telling your F-list you love them but tell them in a post. You don't need to make an honor. honoring everyone is like doing nothing at all. no one is special. I get #14 this week because that picture she drew herself and coloured, but in the past its been like someone copied their Flist from their info and slapped it in a paint file. wtf.

Alright, I'll shut up nao. :3

That's very sweet of you! I don't know her, but I do hope she feels better soon. I hate being sick, I lost my voice last weekend and it's still not back. Although, that was from riding roller coasters and not an illness, but still! xD

I AGREE. I hate the group ones. I also don't like when people Praisebook 5 people at a time just saying, "You're sweet! Thanks for being sweet!"

It's like, what? How is that supposed to make anyone feel good?
