One Year Ago
Nick Fury knew where all of his troublemakers were almost all of the time. This way he knew when a headache was coming. There was one individual, not necessarily one of the troublemakers, he always kept tabs on was one Steve Rogers, aka Captain America.

Rogers was currently enjoying a cup of coffee and scrambled eggs at Rosie's Diner. Nick walked into the diner carrying a manila envelope. He slid into the booth and smiled at the waitress that appeared at the table. "Cup o' yer best, honey," he said favoring her with one of his best smiles.

"Coming right up," she said and went to get the coffee.

He looked at Steve and slid the envelope across the table.. "Got somethin' ya might be interested in."

Following the latest information from Fury Captain America had gone to talk to the senator earlier as being a possible target for assassination.

He had then insisted rather strongly that he allowed to join his security for the event at least to ensure his safety and also to try and capture Bucky.

As such he entered the senator's dressing room first shield held out in front of him just in case.

Winter Soldier executes his place, firing three shots at the first man to walk in the door. When the shots bounce off the red, white and blue shield, the Soldier realizes that a complication has arisen in the plan.

And now he's trapped in the enclosed space with...whoever this guy is.

He curses in Russian and rushes at Captain America, leading with his bionic arm. He hopes to catch him off-guard and get out of there before they move to capture him.

	Captain America might as well be talking to a brick wall for all the reaction he gets out of the Winter Soldier. "Don't know this Bucky clown, but I'll make it so you two see each other in hell." 	"Don't worry about it, hero. You're not going to do anything worse than anyone else has ever done to me." Winter Soldier says, aiming a kick for Cap's stomach. He puts away his gun and pulls his knife, readying it for the first chance he can get to eviscerate this star-spangled nuisance. "Bucky I know deep down inside you know who I am and you know what you're doing is wrong," Captain America says. He knows that this doesn't seem to be works but he just can't make himself give up hope of breaking through to him.

He knocks back the kick with his forearm trying to throw him off balance. Steve's seen first hand how good Bucky can be with a knife a keeps his shield between them. He might be fighting back a bit more than before but it's still not in earnest.

Captain America is too busy dealing with Winter Soldier that he does not notice Natasha there yet.

	Natasha knew this wouldn't end well for one or both. They were both too close in skill and fighting abilities and she didn't want to see either get hurt, or possibly worse, killed. She aimed her Widow's Bite and fired at James. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Winter Soldier is looking to get inside Captain America's guard for a telling blow with his knife, but the energy blast catches him off guard, forcing him away from his opponent. He curses in Russian as he moves back, taking a moment to regroup. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Captain America is fast and his reaction time are up there to but at this range even he couldn't completely dodge it. Still he moves fast enough to keep it so that the bullet just gazes him. It might hurt a bit but he did live. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The second shot of the Widow's Bite causes Winter Soldier immense pain and he drops his weapon, darkness closing in around his vision. He had failed his country and his people.
